The Lost Ark Beta ran from November 4th to November 11th and had an exciting week for fans of the game, giving us a first look at what to expect from the western release. The Lost Ark Beta has come to an end, however, and players will be without the game for a while.
Let's take a look at the next steps for the game to launch in 2022.
The Lost Ark: Heroes of Axia Animated Series - November 16
One of the most exciting news about The Lost Ark is the announcement of an animated series. Heroes of Axia will focus on the story of the Lost Ark, and the first episode will air on November 16th!
We don't know much about the series other than that it will have six episodes. So far, fans have been thrilled to learn more about the story as well as the unique comic style.
Aside from the animated series, there isn't much new about The Lost Ark yet. We know that it will be released sometime "early 2022", but that's about it. This can be done between January 1st and March 31st, but the earlier the better!
We just need to keep track of any additional information and we will make sure that everyone is informed as soon as something becomes available.
Lessons from the Lost Ark beta
The Lost Ark Beta definitely went more smoothly than expected, and it is clear that the game is almost done, but not quite finished yet. As for the gameplay, it seems almost everything is there - the fights are great, the skills work (mostly), and any issues are minor at best and are quickly fixed.
However, there are some problems. The localization was clearly not complete, especially late in the game, and after an update there were some game-changing bugs that prevented players from progressing. Of course, there are still a few things that need to be fixed, but the game is essentially ready to use. We're cautiously optimistic that we'll see the game sooner rather than later in 2022. And lost ark gold will be available at SSEGold
